Ingredients:
- 2½ cups Wheat Flour
- 1 Egg
- Hot Water (as required)
For The Filling:
- 5 large boiled Potatoes (mashed)
- 400 g Cheese
- 3 medium Onions (chopped)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
Cooking Instructions:
- Heat butter in a pan and fry onions until brown.
- Add potatoes and cheese. Stir.
- Flavor with salt and pepper.
- Combine flour and egg in a bowl. Add enough water to form spongy dough.
- Compress the dough and cut into circles using glass.
- Place the cheese filling in the middle and roll up sealing the ends properly.
- Dip patties into boiling water and boil till they start floating up. Do not let the patties sink to the bottom or stick to each other.
- Remove and smear some butter on the top.
- Serve hot with fried onions and diced bacon.
