Ingredients:
- 5 pounds Beef Cubes
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp White Pepper
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 1 large Onion (sliced)
- ½ cup Water
- 1 cup Cream
- ¾ cup Red Wine
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 3 Garlic Cloves
Cooking Instructions:
- Season meat with salt and white pepper.
- Heat butter in frying pan and sauté meat, until brown on both sides.
- Transfer into a roasting pan and place onion slices and garlic over it.
- Pour in the water, cream, and red wine.
- Bake at 320 degrees F until the meat turns tender, for about 3 hours.
- Add more red wine if the bottom of the roasting pan dries out.
- Transfer into a platter.
- Combine the flour with the remaining liquid from roasting pan to make the gravy and pour over the meat.
- Serve hot.
