Ingredients:
- Sardine Fish
- Thick Coconut Milk
- 12 Shallots (chopped)
- 4 Green Chillies
- Small piece of Ginger (chopped)
- 8 Methi Seeds
- 2 ½ tsp Red Chilly Powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- ½ tsp Fennel Seed Powder
- 3 Cocum
- Coconut Oil
- Few Curry Leaves (chopped)
- Salt to taste
Cooking Instructions:
- Slice the fish into pieces.
- Soak the cocum in salted water for around 5 min.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the methi seeds until it turns into brown.
- Put in onion, green chillies, ginger and fry it until it turns brown.
- Pour into coconut milk, chilly powder, turmeric powder, fennel seed powder & salt to taste and simmer it on high flame.
- Stir in fish and cook it covered on medium flame until curry thickens.
- Add on curry leaves.
- Serve it hot.
