Ingredients:
- 1 kg Prawns
- 2 Onions (sliced)
- 3 Green Chilies (chopped)
- 2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 3 tbsp Oil
- A pinch of Turmeric Powder
- Salt (to taste)
- Red Chilly Powder (to taste)
For The Masala Paste:
- 3 tbsp Coriander Seeds
- 1 tbsp Poppy Seeds
- 2 tbsp Coconut (grated)
- 3 pieces Cinnamon
- 5 Cloves
- 2 Cardamoms
- 2 cloves Garlic
Cooking Instructions:
- Dry roast coriander seeds and poppy seeds.
- Combine them with the rest of the ingredients in a grinder. Process into a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry onions and green chillies, until brown.
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste.
- Add in prawns, turmeric powder, and salt. Stir and cook for 10 minutes.
- Stir in chilly powder and masala paste, along with some water to form a gravy. Cook until you get a thick gravy.
- Serve hot.
