Ingredients:
- 20 Soya Chunks
- 4 Shallots
- 6 Garlic Cloves (crushed)
- 1½ tsp Red Chilly Powder
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- ½ tsp Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Chicken Masala
- 2 stems of Curry Leaves
- 3 tbsp Oil
- Salt (to taste)
Cooking Instructions:
- Soak soya chunks in water for around ½ hour. Squeeze out excess water and cut into 3-4 small circles.
- Combine together shallots, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, chicken masala and salt in a grinder. Grind into a smooth paste.
- Add garlic and process for 2 seconds.
- Toss in soya chunks and curry leaves. Marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the soya chunks until crusty.
- Serve hot.
