Ingredients:
- 300 g Toor Dal
- 2 Onions (chopped)
- 2 Potatoes (peeled & cubed)
- 4 Tomatoes (chopped)
- 6 Green Chilies (chopped)
- ½ bunch Coriander (chopped)
- 1 tsp Sesame Seeds (roasted)
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (ground)
- ½ tsp Poppy Seeds (ground)
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Amchur Powder
- 3 tbsp Ghee
- Salt (to taste)
Cooking Instructions:
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry onions, until golden brown.
- Stir in sesame seeds, cumin seeds, poppy seeds, and turmeric powder. Fry for 3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, green chilies, and coriander. Mix well.
- Add potatoes, toor dal, and 4 cups water. Mix and cook on medium flame, until cooked & soft.
- Sprinkle amchur powder and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with boiled rice.
