Potato Patties

Ingredients:
- 2 big Boiled Potatoes (mashed)
- ¼ cup Cornmeal
- ½ tbsp Cornflour
- Salt to taste
- ½ cup Oil
For the Filling:
- 1 cup Green Beans (chopped)
- 1 Onion (minced)
- ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
- ½ tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- ¼ tsp Red Chilly Powder
- ½ tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
Cooking Instructions:
- Take oil in a pan and splutter the cumin seeds. Put in onions and fry it.
- Pour into all remaining ingredients of filling and fry it for 2 min. Then cook it covered until beans are tender.
- Mix well mashed potatoes with salt into dough.
- Shape the potato dough into balls and flatten it to disc shape.
- Stuff the center of the ball with the filling and form it into a ball. Then flatten it again.
- Blend cornflour with 2-3 tbsp water to thin paste and dip each patty in it. Then roll them in the cornmeal.
- Put oil in a pan and fry the patties until they are golden brown.
- Serve it hot with tomato sauce.
