Ingredients:
- For the Stewh:
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 2 medium Onions (peeled & finely chopped)
- 1 Green Bell Pepper (cored, seeded & chopped)
- 1 small bunch Parsley (chopped)
- 910 gm Tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 tsp Cumin (ground)
- 1 tsp Black Pepper (ground)
- ½ tsp Cinnamon (ground)
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- ¼ tsp Cayenne
- Salt to taste
- 6 Eggs
For The Meatball:
- 455 gm Lamb (ground)
- 2 tbsp Parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp fresh Coriander (chopped)
- ½ tsp Cumin (ground)
- ½ Onion (peeled & finely chopped)
- ¼ tsp Cayenne
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Cooking Instructions:
- Take all the ingredients of meatball in a bowl and mix it well.
- Shape the mixture into small balls.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the meatballs until it is brown. Keep the fried meatballs aside.
- Put garlic, onion, bell pepper in the same pan and shallow fry them.
- Pour into remaining ingredients and cook it covered for ½ hr until it thickens.
- Add meatballs to it and cook it for another 10 min.
- Crack the eggs into the gravy and poach it for 2-3 min.
- Serve it hot.
