Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 cup Almonds (coarsely chopped)
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- ½ Green Pepper (chopped)
- 2 cups Orange Juice
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 5 Cloves
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- ¼ tsp Red Pepper (ground)
- Salt to taste
- ¼ tsp Pepper
- 2 cups Couscous
- ¼ cup Raisins
- ½ cup Green Onions (chopped)
Cooking Instructions:
- Take oil in a pan and fry the almonds.
- Put in onion with green pepper and cook until it softens.
- Stir in orange juice with cinnamon sticks, cloves, spices and get it to boil. Then immediately mix in couscous with raisins and take it off heat. Keep it covered to the side for 5 min.
- Plump up the mixture using fork. Then pour over green onions and serve it.
