Ingredients:
- For the Fish:
- 1½ kg Lutefisk
- 1 tsp Salt
- 200 ml Water
For the Sauce:
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 500 ml Milk
- Salt to taste
- White Pepper to taste
- ½ tsp Nutmeg
- Black Pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions:
- Take fish with salt, water in a greased pan and cook it covered for 15-20 min on low flame. Then remove the water.
- Heat butter in a pan and pour into flour. Get it to boil.
- Put in milk gradually stirring continuously for 5-10 min. Then simmer until it is thick.
- Mix in all flavorings and heat it for 2-3 sec.
- Serve lutefisk with the sauce.
