Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Curd
- Coriander Leaves (cut finely)
- ½ kilo(1 pound) Mutton
- 2 Large Onion
- 8 Clove Garlic
- 4 Green Chili
- 2 Cardamom
- 2 Biryani Leaves
- 1 small piece Ginger
- 2 Tomato
- Oil (as needed)
- 2 cups Grated coconut
- 1 tsp Saunf (Fennel)
- 1 tsp Poppy Seeds
- 2 Cinnamon
- Salt (to taste)
Cooking Instructions:
- Wash the mutton and cut it.
- Cut onion and tomato into fine pieces.
- Make a paste of ginger, garlic, chili and set aside.
- Grind coconut, saunf (Fennel) and Poppy seeds.
- Take a pan and heat oil.
- Add cinnamon, cardamom and biryani leaf in the hot oil.
- Once they splutter add ginger garlic paste and fry.
- Put tomato, onion and stir-fry it.
- Put salt, a little water and let it boil.
- Add coconut paste, cooked mutton and boil it on a medium flame for 15-20 min.
- Add coriander leaves, curd and let it boil on a low flame for another 10 min.
- Once the korma gets thicken then remove from the stove.
- Serve it hot.
Suggestions:
- Serve it with rice and chapati
