Ingredients:
- 800 gm Beef (minced)
- 2 Onions (peeled & chopped)
- 2 â€"3 cloves Garlic (chopped)
- 100 gm Breadcrumbs
- 100 ml Water
- 100 gm Cream
- 2 Eggs
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp Black Pepper (ground)
- ½ tsp dried Thyme
- 3 tbsp Parsley (shredded)
- Few slices of Bacon
- 2 tbsp Butter
Cooking Instructions:
- Take breadcrumbs with water and cream in a bowl and blend well. Let it puff up.
- Heat butter in a pan and shallow fry onion and garlic.
- In a large bowl, combine together beef, fried onion & garlic, eggs, breadcrumb mixture, and all flavorings and shape into a loaf.
- Transfer the loaf to greased loaf pan and top up with bacon slices.
- Place the pan in a preheated oven and bake at 175°C for 1 hour.
- Serve it hot with boiled potatoes, vegetables and mushroom sauce.
