Mead
Ingredients:
- 4L of Water
- 250 gm Soft Brown Sugar
- 250 gm Regular White Sugar
- 2 Organic Lemons (peeled)
- 1/8 tsp Fresh Yeast
- 1 cup Hot Water
Cooking Instructions:
- Take sugars in a heatproof glass jar.
- Rinse lemons with hot water and cut them into two. Take out the juice.
- Boil water in a pan and add half of it to the jar of sugar. Stir it well to melt the sugar.
- Mix in lemon juice and keep it to side until it is lukewarm.
- Thaw yeast with little water in a cup and then mix with sugar mixture.
- Pour into remaining water and keep it covered loosely for all night.
- Filter the mixture using fine cheesecloth and store in a sterilized bottles.
- Stir in 1 tsp sugar in each bottle and keep it closed for 3 hrs. Then refrigerate them.
- Serve it chilled after 1-2 weeks.
