Ingredients:
- 750 gm Chicken
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 1 Tomato (chopped)
- ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- ¼ Turmeric Powder
- 10 Curry Leaves
- 1 inch Piece Ginger
- 4 Fakes Garlic
- ¼ Cup Coconut (grated)
- Oil
- Salt (to taste)
- Coriander Leaves (chopped for Garnishing)
Cooking Instructions:
- Clean, wash and cut the chicken into medium size pieces. Keep it aside.
- In a mixer add coconut, ginger and garlic and make a paste. Keep it aside.
- Heat up the pan with oil add mustard seeds.
- When they begin to crackle add curry leaves and onion.
- Fry it until the onion become brown in color.
- Add tomatoes, salt cook it for another 3 min or until tomatoes become soft.
- Now add the grinded paste and cook till aroma disappears.
- Add chili powder , coriander powder, turmeric and cook for a 2 min and add chicken pieces.
- Mix it well and add 2 cup of water and cover the lid.
- Cook it in medium flame for 20 min.
- Add salt mix it well and switch off the flame.
- Finally add coriander leaves.
Suggestions:
- serve with chapati or rice
