Ingredients:
- 1 Pie Shell (unbaked)
For the Filling:
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 tbsp All-purpose Flour (Maida)
- 2 Eggs
- ½ stick Butter (melted)
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 180 gm Coconut (grated)
- 4 Egg Whites
- ½ tsp Cream of Tartar
- 2 tsp Sugar
Cooking Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Take all ingredients of filling in a bowl and mix well.
- Stuff the pie shell with the filling mixture and bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.
- Remove, cool and refrigerate until set.
- Put egg whites, along with cream and sugar in a bowl and beat until firm peaks are formed.
- Pour over the pie and keep in the oven at 350°F for 5 minutes, or until brown in colour.
- Remove and let it cool.
- Serve chilled.
