Actually in maharashtra, some ppl. use bread instead of pav...this combo is good too..if u dont get pav/buns :)

its a good one. i hav tried a variation in ths recipe. try frying d boiled n mashed potatoes in a spicy tadka of kari patta n rai along wid red chilli powder n some amchoor. thn let d mixture cool. make balls n thn follow d dip in d batter n fry part.

Making the vada is okay but those living outside Mumbai & Maharashtra, cannot get authentic pav. Therefore recipe for pav a must.
