Parenting becomes a sweet responsibility, only when it shared equally by both husband and wife. In a family, both father and mother equally play an important in bringing up a child. For a single parent it is tough to bring up the child. Although a mother is said to play the crucial role in the life of a child, the importance of father can nevertheless be demeaned. On Father's Day, along with the rest of the world, a wife would like to show her thankfulness towards her husband for being a great father. She would love to show her appreciation for shouldering the burden of rearing up the child. Father's Day provide her with the apt chance when she can declare her feelings by jotting down a few lines in his honor. Else, one can pick up a poem from the segment of Father's Day poems for husband.
Father's Day Poems For Husband
You Need
YOU told me you loved me
YOU shared all your hopes and fears
YOU spoke of your goals
YOU make me shed many tears
YOU were once so open and honest
YOU did so many things right from the start
YOU seemed very sincere
YOU have since broken my heart
YOU promised me the world
YOU gave me reasons to believe
YOU allowed me to spread my wings
YOU make me feel like you will only deceive
YOU stole my heart away
YOU used to be full of fun and joy
YOU made me feel like I was special
YOU have me thinking I was just a toy
YOU made love to me, and I gave you children
YOU eventually made me your spouse
YOU cared about my feelings once upon a time
YOU treat me today as if I'm a louse
YOU need to treat me with respect and honor
YOU need to quit casing anymore pain and strife
YOU need to remember that I am your wife
YOU need to go back to the man that you once were
YOU need to stop lying to you and to me
YOU need to realize it's bringing much grief
YOU need to stop and think that I don't have to be
IN YOUR LIFE...

To My Husband, on Father's Day
When I look at you being a dad to our children,
my heart swells with gratitude and pride,
I find myself sitting in a corner, admiring you be your natural self,
being in your comfort zone of daddy hood.
I feel so blessed to have a husband like you
I am so thankful that my children are blessed
with a father as caring, thoughtful, and supportive as you
It must be Heavenly Father looking out for me
He knew we would compliment each other
so he blessed us with each other
On this Father's Day here is a wish for you
I wish for continuous blessings from above
For God's guidance, protection, strength
For health, long life and prosperity
I want to thank you for always putting our children's interest first
We love you from the bottom of our hearts
We wish you Happy Father's Day

The Dutiful Husband
The Dutiful Husband...
Comes home from work
all fires are out with only a squirt.
A quiet evening he looks forward to,
just Bill O'Reilly, a glass of wine will do.
His loyal wife - some news she has,
The Dryer - it's broke - I'm lost
she cries.
With bulging eyes and clenched white fists, he calmly says:
Put It On My List
She paces and paces and gives a shrill,
till finally she wins over dear ole Bill.
The dryer is dragged from its' lint filled nitch,
unscrewed in places where only midgets could fit.
Adjectives fly from this wine filled mouth
WHERE'S MY TOOLS he says with a shout.
Hours pass, parts askew, sweat on his brow ;
(Oh more wine will do!)
FORGET IT he says
OUT IS GOES
'GET MY MONEY, WE'RE GOING TO LOWES.
Thank You Dear!!!
