The use of exclusive fabrics, with specially treated fibers and meticulously complicated textures, by varied surface treatments, makes her garment worth the purchase. She excels in creating attires with clean and minimal use of lines. The innocent girl hidden in Puja Nayyar continuously makes her believe in the philosophy of asymmetry, yet having a balanced frame of mind and body.

Career and Success
While at NIFT Delhi, Puja Nayyar was selected at the National level to showcase her collection for the Air France Young Designers' Design Competition in Paris. She started her label in 1996, under the name "Puja Nayyar". She made her debut in 1997 and since then, has showcased her collection at Khazana, Taj Hotel and NASSCOM conference at Oberoi's group of Hotels. Nayyar has also created abstract ensembles for the 'ARJO WIGGINS' paper show at the India Habitat Centre. In the year 1999, she went international with her shows at Sao Polo, Brazil, etc. She has also participated in "India Fashion Shows."

Puja Nayyar was one of the five Asian designers who were selected from Asia, on the basis of their excellence in work, to showcase their collections in the "Mercedes Benz Asia Fashion Week." She was also invited to showcase her collection at Selfridges in London, for the "23 ½ days of Bollywood". Her forte lies in her simplicity and use of fabrics as well as embroideries which would give an intricate look, yet be fashionable, individualistic and value for money. In addition to designing clothes, she creates scarves, stoles, bags, caps, lifestyle products like made-ups and screens. Her foray into menswear has seen the emergence of specially created fabrics for jackets, shirts and textured ties.

Brand and Stores
Puja Nayyar brings out her creations under the brand 'Puja Nayyar'. She has her collections listed in the premier stores of India such as Carma in New Delhi, Grasshopper in Bangalore, Kimaya & Melange in Mumbai and Sosa's in Goa. The prêt lines sell out in all 'Be:' Stores in India and Dubai & the label also sells out of "Chokri," in Singapore. Apart from the stores, she also works out of her own studio, in New Delhi.
