Early Life
Ranna Gill learned the art of designing from the NIFT, Delhi. After passing out with an associate degree, she went to New York to complete her graduation from Fashion Institute of Technology. After doing internships under the eminent designers like Rohit Khosla and Donna Karan, she joined Polo Ralph Lauren-the women division, at Madison. The time spent at the fashion world certainly gave her an added confidence.

Career and Success
Ranna started her own label 'Ranna Gill" in the year 1996, after she returned to India. She also started her boutique "Ameera" in the year 2000, after a brief period of five years in the Indian fashion scenario. The work of this artistic designer reflects feminist attitude and flavors of freedom. She excels in contemporary form of making. Experimenting with the outfits is a part of her clan but her forte is to make such clothes that have a ready market.

Ranna Gill has participated in a lot of fashion shows in India and abroad and has earned a reputation for her ready-to-wear designs. Ranna Gill's label today reckons with the women luxury prêt segment. Her brand replicates originality, avoiding being clichéd or predictable every time and displays its line of clothes.
